The Work
• Demo and disposal of existing deck and brick surfaces
• Installation of Trex decking and railings as well as all Techo Bloc paver patios, walls, and custom steps
• Placement of 17 custom stone steps in new sod area and 3 additional steppers in the mulch bed
• Finishing with Brandon Edge hardscape for clean patio borders and a black powder coated aluminum fence for added safety
• Careful grading, base preparation, and cleanup throughout the project
The Outcome
The backyard now features a spacious, 2-level patio that connects smoothly to the deck and surrounding paths. Defined edges, stone steps, and a sleek black fence make the space easier to use and more inviting for gatherings.
This project started with the removal of worn brick areas behind the deck and along the path to the street. The homeowners wanted a larger, more functional outdoor space that blended well with their existing deck and yard.
